THERE'S no quit in Meralco.
Despite down 0-2 in its PBA Governors Cup quarterfinals against rival Barangay Ginebra, the Bolts still see a ray of hope of turning the best-of-five series around.
Veteran forward Cliff Hodge typifies the Meralco resilience, saying the Bolts just have to take things one game at a time.
"It's still a best-of-three. We have our chances, just go out there, try to get one game at a time, stay focus, and do everything to get back in the series," said the reigning Defensive Player of the Year.
The Bolts found themselves in a big hole after losing a 104-103 heartbreaker against the Kings in Game 2 as Justine Brownlee hit a clutch three pointer with three seconds left for the game winning shot.

Hodge finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists as he covered up the middle for the Bolts as Raymund Almazan is still not 100 percent healthy, and so with another big man in Norbert Torres.
Game 3 is set on Monday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in a virtual win or go home situation for the Bolts.
Hodge made it known the reigning Philippine Cup champion is certainly not in the mood yet to go on an early vacation.
"It's do or die for us. So we'll have to go out there and try to get a win and extend it (series) or we're going home," he said.
"We don't want to go home yet."(RG)
