Magnolia Pambansang Manok and Rain or Shine both look to rebound from a loss the last time out as they mix it up in the PBA Governors Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Wednesday.
Both teams are bracing for a tough game as they expect each other to wage a tough fight after dropping their last outing.
They clash at 7 p.m.
The Hotshots reeled to an 82-95 loss to the surging Phoenix Fuel Masters last Sunday while the Elasto Painters came up short versus the TNT KaTropa Texters, 104-110, in a Petron Blaze Saturday Special in Passi City, Iloilo.
"I think it will be a close game since both teams need to win this game," said Magnolia coach Chito Victolero.

"Galing sa talo, we need to bounce back and have that proper mindset going into the game. Defensively, we need to be more aggressive and match up the intensity of Rain or Shine," Victolero added.
The Hotshots fashioned out successive emphatic wins over the NLEX Road Warriors (102-72) and the NorthPort Batang Pier (104-87) before suffering their first defeat in the tourney at the hands of the Fuel Masters.
The E-Painters, meanwhile, were beaten in their very first game in the tourney coming from a long, long layoff.
ROS dropped the game as the E-Painters suddenly ran into a long scoreless spell in the second half.
It was a toe-to-toe battle until the Texters cashed in on the E-Painters' sudden collapse.

The two teams figured in a fierce exchange of treys early in the third period before the E-Painters suddenly hit into the wall, going without a basket in a stretch of nearly five minutes bridging the third and fourth quarters. (SB)
