FROM Angeles University Foundation Gym in Angeles, Pampanga last Philippine Cup to either Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo or Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig for the next all-Filipino tourney.
The two Ynares gymnasiums are the leading playing venues being considered for the next Philippine Cup to kick off PBA Season 46 in late June or early July.
PBA commissioner Willie Marcial has had talks with Antipolo Mayor Junjun Ynares for the possible use of the Ynares Sports Center
If they decide to bring it to Ynares Sports Arena instead, the PBA will need to get the nod of the provincial government of Rizal and the city government of Pasig.
The PBA, however, needs to wait for the next IATF announcement on quarantine classification for NCR Plus after the June 1-15 period.

"We'll discuss the finer details of plans after June 15," said Marcial, hoping NCR Plus eases into a more lenient quarantine status that would allow the PBA to hold games either in Pasig or Antipolo.
The PBA is not looking at giant venues for now, being realistic they won't be allowed to accommodate playing fans.
"So kung kami-kami lang, pwede na ang Ynares-Pasig," said Marcial. "Ang problema lang sa Ynares-Pasig eh walang dugouts. We would need to put up tents as dressing areas for the players."
With complete amenities but one that will require longer drives for the teams in a closed-circuit setup is the Ynares-Antipolo.
At the moment, PBA teams are still going out of town for training since NCR Plus remains in GCQ with restrictions. (SB)
