BEATING their rivals in footrace, shooting and defending, the TNT Tropang Giga are determined to keep it that way.
"We cannot take our foot off the pedal," said TNT coach Chot Reyes, meaning he's to push his troops to keep the pace and sustain their drive in a bid to go 3-0 in their PBA Governors' Cup best-of-seven semifinals showdown with Rain or Shine.

"It's nice to be up 2-0 but it takes four to get to the next stage. Our entire discussion after this is to continue trying to figure out what their adjustments will be next game and keep putting our foot on the pedal," said Reyes.
The Tropang Giga are now halfway through in their race-to-four dispute with the E-Painters with a 90-81 win in the opener followed by a 108-91 rout in the next.

Another victory will send TNT to within a win of the Last Dance in the tourney that they won over Barangay Ginebra in 2023.
Reyes said there's no big secret on the successes they have achieved so far but playing good defense.
"There's nothing special in what we're trying to do in particular except from making a point to start the second half with a renewed determination on defense because if we're able to make stops, it really fuels our offense," said Reyes.
"'Yun ang laging mindset namin after halftime in terms of adjustments and how better can we defend them. We made adjustments at halftime and made successive stops. That fueled our breakaway."
For coach Yeng Guiao, it's now about playing, competing and winning.
