Jarrid Famous remains hopeful that the winless Blackwater Elite can still make a turnaround after absorbing their fifth straight loss in the PBA Commissioner's Cup against Barangay Ginebra San Miguel last Friday at the Alonte Sports Arena in Binan, Laguna.
The Elite's struggles continued in Binan as they allowed Ginebra to unleash a fiery start before absorbing a 105-91 defeat that kept them at the bottom of the team standings.
Famous, who had 25 points and 17 rebounds in the loss, feels Blackwater still has plenty of time to make up for their anemic start.
"We play six (more) games and you never know, we could win six games, you'll never know," said Famous. "We just got to keep playing and keep working and stick together, that's the main thing and let's see what happens."
Blackwater continues to undergo an adjustment period under new coach Bong Ramos, who replaced longtime mentor Leo Isaac after the Elite began the conference with three straight defeats.

"We try to get a new mindset, we're trying to switch everything around so it's a process. No panic button," Famous said.
"We just have to keep working and keep pushing because we can't give up, never. That's not in my vocabulary, that's not in my teammates' vocabulary. We're gonna keep playing to the end," he added.
