Ginebra fans have raised doubts on Charles Garcia after his uneventful debut on Sunday in the team's 89-108 defeat to Rain or Shine.
But for LA Tenorio, he opted to stay the course and give the reinforcement the benefit of the doubt.
The veteran playmaker maintained his belief on the import despite his pedestrian performance which only saw him post 19 points, eight assists, and six rebounds in the squad's 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup debut.
"Nandyan yung import namin. Kung sino yung import namin, we'll deal with that. I'm sure the coaching staff also has a plan for our import, that's why kinuha nila 'to," he said.
Tenorio didn't want to add to the list of people that immediately put Garcia under the microscope, assuring him that as of now, he is still the Gin Kings' guy.

"As of now, hindi namin tinitingnan na parang temporary import lang siya for Justin (Brownlee)," he said. "Justin is wala sa picture sa ngayon."
Brownlee is still seeing action in the 2018 ASEAN Basketball League, helping San Miguel Alab Pilipinas win the regional crown.
Tenorio would rather focus on developing chemistry with Garcia and let the powers-that-be, specifically coach Tim Cone, to take care of the import situation if Ginebra does decide to stick it with the current import or make a move to replace him.
"I'm sure with Coach Tim, alam niya kung ano gagawin. Hindi na namin siya kinukwestiyon. We don't have to talk about it. Alam na nila yon," he said.
"Para sa amin, we just have to do the adjustments they make and just have to believe it. Ganun naman kami eh," continued Tenorio, who himself had 13 points, seven assists, and four rebounds in the loss.
