Mac Belo is well aware that he has to deliver for the struggling Blackwater Elite. And that's exactly what he did on Friday evening.
Belo scored 22 points on 7-of-12 shooting that went with his nine rebounds to help the Elite stop the Columbian Dyip, 106-100.
Before that game, he was just averaging 8.6 points and 4.4 rebounds.
"The last few games namin talagang nag-struggle ako, so yun I find ways na maka-recover," he said.
The third-year forward out of Far Eastern University said his teammates helped him get his groove back.

"Thank you sa teammates ko kasi na-execute namin plays kaya na-open din ako, so nalalaro ko laro ko," he said.
Friday's win improved Blackwater's record to 2-6, but advancing to the next round appears tough to accomplish if not impossible. But Belo is not giving up just yet. He hopes they'll keep the momentum going.
The Elite still have three games left in the eliminations against TNT KaTropa (March 9) the NLEX Road Warriors (March 17) and the Magnolia Hotshots (March 22).
"Malaking tulong sa'min tong panalong 'to kasi na-boost confidence namin. Sana next game solid uli para makuha panalo." (JB)
