PBA 3X3: Alanes takes scoring honors in Leg 1

TERRAFIRMA'S Shaq Alanes stole the thunder from the big guns as he paced scoring in Leg 1 of the PBA 3x3 Season 3 Third Conference.

Alanes averaged 9.5 points spiked by a single-game high of 14 for the Dyip to outgun MCFASolver's Brandon Ramirez (8.67), the leader in field goals made, and Blackwater's Wendell Comboy (8.0), owner of a leg-best 17 markers.

Showing his defensive side, Comboy topped the steals department with 2.0 ahead of Pioneer's Ken Mocon (1.5) and Alanes (.1.0)

TNT's Chester Saldua, Cavitex's Philip Paniamogan and NorthPort's JR Alabanza similarly made their marks in the other categories.

Saldua soared as the premier rebounder with 7.0 per outing followed by Blackwater pair Rey Publico (6.67) and Dariel Bayla (5.67) while Paniamogan emerged No. 1 in assists with 3.17 ahead of San Miguel Beer's Jeremy Cruz and NorthPort's Dexter Zamora, who each averaged 3.0.
