PBA 3x3: Big guns back for Season 3

THE big guns of 3x3 are back as the PBA 3x3 opens Season 3 on Monday at the Ayala Mall Manila Bay.

Gilas Pilipinas 3x3 mainstays Almond Vosotros and Lervin Flores banner fancied TNT Triple Giga in firing the first salvo in the July 3-4 First
Conference kickoff leg after scoring a historic grand slam in Season 2.

Vets Ping Exciminiano and Gryann Mendoza join the two in this quest for early success against the spirited challenge of Cavitex, Meralco 3x3, Barangay Ginebra, San Miguel Beer, Pioneer Elastoseal, Blackwater Smooth Razor, Purefoods, NorthPort, Terrafirma and new guest team Wilcon Depot.

Most of the teams have tweaked their rosters ahead of the new season.
Joseph Sedurifa returns to the Bolts' fold, where he reunites with Alfred Batino, Jeff Manday and Bryan Santos while Tonino Gonzaga beefs up the Braves' crew of Dominick Fajardo, Jorey Napoles and Ken Ighalo.

Action begins with the single round robin pool play afterwhich eight teams - the top two finishers of Pool A and the Top 3 squads of Pools B and C - will move on to the knockout play Tuesday. (OL)
