BOOSTED by its triumph in Leg 6, TnT took the No. 2 seeding behind top-ranked Cavitex in the positioning for the PBA 3x3 Season 3 First Conference Grand Finals set Sunday at Market Market.
The Triple Giga scored their second leg triumph of the season-opener at the expense of the Braves, 21-17, earning the maximum 100 tour points to tally 390 and dislodge Barangay Ginebra at second at the end of the elims.
Despite falling short of a three-peat, the Leg 4 and 5-winning Braves collared the top seeding in the battle for conference honors with their 490-point aggregate.
The Gin Kings, who started the season with back-to-back leg victories, wound up third after the six-leg preliminaries with 378.
Meralco, gaining from its fourth place finish in Leg 6, rounded out the "Magic 4" with 345 points.

As incentives for finishing in the Top 4, Cavitex, TnT, Ginebra and Meralco advanced directly to the quarterfinal round.
The six other teams that qualified to the Grand Finals will go through pool action to dispute the four remaining Last-8 berths.
San Miguel Beer, which ranked fifth with 298, Wilcon Depot, sixth with 281, Pioneer Elastoseal, seventh with 276, Blackwater Smooth Razor, eighth with 208, NorthPort, ninth with 188, and Terrafima, 10th with 176, grabbed the other spots to the ultimate showdown.
The Dyip nosed out Purefoods (174) by a mere two points for the cutoff position.(OL)
