The Phoenix Fuel Masters Fuel Masters held an open practice session yesterday at the Technological Institute of the Philippines gym in Manila as part of the PBA campus tour.
Players and coaches came as early as 8 a.m. for the 9 -12 noon workout to avoid the morning traffic.
The assembly was a homecoming of sort for Phoenix forward Jorey Napoles. He holds the distinction as the first TIP player to be selected in the Annual Draft.
Napoles graduated from the school with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation.
Phoenix coach Louie Alas conducted their usual drills - shootaround, defensive and offensive sets and the 5-of-5, in effect enabling the huge morning crowd of teachers and students to experience the PBA.

In his twitter account Alas said the team is more than willing to be invited for a similar outreach program.
After the session Commissioner Marcial, Matthew Wright, RJ Jazul, Napoles and Phoenix team manager addressed the crowd and gave a short inspiring message.
The PBA and Phoenix also distributed assorted giveaways and held trivia games followed by the meet and greet with the players.
The PBA campus tour will make its next stop at the National University with the Alaska Aces holding court.
