THE PBA has decided to cancel the PBA Draft Combine scheduled on March 10 and 11.
PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial said the cancelation was meant to ensure the safety of the players and the people involved in the event.
The league's paramount duty and responsibility is to ensure the health and safety of all participants and staff that extra precautions are continuously in place to minimize/eliminate the risk of exposure to the COVID-19 virus.
Also taken into consideration are the government's travel guidelines which include 14 day-quarantine period for returning Filipinos.
A significant number for Fil-foreign aspirants are still in the U.S. and will be affected by this, as well as those in the provinces.
