DETERMINED. Motivated.
That's the mindset EcoOil La Salle as it attempts to eliminate University of Perpetual Help System Dalta when they duel at 2 p.m. in Game 2 of their best-of-three semifinal series in the 2023 PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup Tuesday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.
Game 1 may be a walk in the park, but La Salle deputy coach Gian Nazario cautioned his wards not be overconfident and try to be better in Game 2.
La Salle won the 2022 Aspirants' Cup under coach Derrick Pumaren and things look bright for another finals appearance.
"It's a best-of-three series so ang challenge sa amin is to be better in Game 2. Kung 'di namin matatapatan 'yung level na nilaro namin sa Game 1 then wala kami sa tamang direksyon," said La Salle assistant Gian Nazario.

Perpetual is also determined to bounce back to live another day.
