A new season, a new television partner for the PBA.
The league will be airing its games for Season 48 over A2Z in a bid to air all its games over free tv.
TV5 president Guido Zaballero announced the new partnership during the media presser for the coming PBA season at the Diamond Hotel on Tuesday.
"The primary reason is we believe the PBA needs a dedicated home and we saw the possibility with ZOE," said Zaballero.
The ZOE Broadcasting Network owned by Bro. Eddie Villanueva and ABS CBN will now air games every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.

Games on weekdays are set at 4 pm and 8 pm. respectively, while weekends will be shown at 3 p.m and 6:15 pm.
PBA games were previously aired on TV5 and OneSport on free TV. OneSport will still show games of the PBA but more on a catch up basis. TV5 will now be purely an entertainment channel, according to Caballero.
"So meron na tayong solid entertainment and news channel, and meron na rin kaming sports channel. So it's a good balance."
On cable channel. PBA games will continue to be shown over PBA Rush, which is a dedicated channel for the entire league. On mobile, games can be viewed over the Pilipinas Live app. (RG)
