Almost a week after the declaration of the liberation of Marawi and a few days after the termination of all combat operations there, our soldiers are finally home.
Fittingly, in game 6 of the 2017 Governors' Cup Finals between Meralco Bolts and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, the PBA will honor the sacrifice, courage and gallantry of our men and women in uniform who fought in Marawi.
The first batch of Marawi heroes composed of twenty five soldiers will be our special guests at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on Wednesday, October 25 at 7pm.
No amount of appreciation can really equal their unselfish act of service and heroism. But in our own humble way, may we let them feel our heartfelt gratitude for putting their lives on the line that we may peacefully live our own.
