THE Philippine Basketball Association is continuing with its Alagang PBA Program, especially now with the nation in time of need.
One noble mission in Commissioner Willie Marcial's mind is to join those in the private sector planning to help the government in the procurement of vaccine for the Filipino people.
"Balak ko na kung papayagan ng gobyerno, makakuha at makapag-donate din ang PBA ng vaccine," said Marcial during the online PSA Forum Tuesday.
The league chieftain eyes help to the frontliners, the seniors and the poor people who are most at risk to COVID-19.
"Hindi lang natin masasabi kung magkano ang maitutulong namin, dahil in the first place 'di natin alam kung magkano ang halaga ng vaccine," said Marcial.

But for sure, the PBA will continue with its outreach program.
For one, they're working with TV5's Alagang Kapatid Foundation to find deserving beneficiaries of a fund-raiser mounted during the PBA bubble play in Clark.
The PBA raised around P90,000 in its drive to donate P100 for every point made in the last two minutes of every game in the recent all-Filipino tourney won by Barangay Ginebra.
"Gagawin na namin P100,000 iyon at tatapatan ng sponsor ng TV5," said Marcial. (SB)
