TNT Tropang Giga's PBA Philippine Cup success is a huge motivation for its 3x3 team.
The quartet of Almond Vosotros, Samboy De Leon, Lervin Flores, and Jeremiah Gray are looking to duplicate the same feat its 5-on-5 counterpart achieved in the last all-Filipino conference once the league finally unveils its first ever staging of the three-a-side event.
Vosotros said the Tropang Giga's recent championship run should serve as a big inspiration in the team's 3x3 campaign that begins on Nov. 20 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
"Sinasabi namin sa sarili namin na kailangan mas ma-motivate kami kasi nga yung 5-on-5 team namin champion," the veteran guard pointed out.
"So I think kailangan bigay din namin lahat sa floor kung ano yung kaya naming gawin."
The trio of Vosotros, Flores, and De Leon already has the proven chemistry, having played together as part of the Tropang Giga during the Clark bubble last year when they finished runner-up behind eventual champion Barangay Ginebra.

The entry of the 6-foot-5 Gray will only enhance that cohesion behind his skills set and athleticism.
Besides, Vosotros is already familiar with the way the Fil-Am rookie plays, having been teammates back in the Thailand Basketball League (TBL) in 2018.
"Parehas kaming Asian import doon kaya pamilyar na sa akin si Jeremiah. At least meron akong idea kung paano siya maglaro," said the former UAAP champion out of De La Salle.
Mau Belen is the one who will call the shots for the Tropang Giga.(RG)
