Phoenix coach anxious about upcoming game against Meralco

Phoenix coach Louie Alas expressed concern on their upcoming game against Meralco on Wednesday.'

"My concern right now is that our game always dips after a victory,' revealed Alas.

He recalled that after beating Ginebra last Jan. 26, the Fuel Masters lost to Alaska by 22 points.

"We have to check that," said Alas after their come from behind win 74-72 over the Texters last Wednesday.

Alas said their target is to finish fourth to sixth spot, good enough to earn a best -of-three series in the quarterfinals .

After trailing TNT for most part, the Fuel Masters finally seized control with a 5-0 binge in the last 44 seconds.

Birthday boy Matthew Wright, who scored 16 points including a three-pointer that tied the count at 72-all, capped his heroics by feeding Doug Kramer the go-ahead basket that sealed the victory for the Fuel Masters.

"At least, we're now inside the top six at this point," Alas added.
