Cameron Oliver and his teammates are coming off a nasty rout by Converge (130-117) where coach Chot Reyes rued their poor defense.
"We got our ass kicked. Converge shot very well - 21 three-point shots - and we can't win games if we allow our opponents to shoot the threes.
Their three-point shooting plus their second-chance points (17) were the difference," said Reyes.
"Our offense wasn't bad, we scored 117, shot 50 percent and we had only 10 turnovers. But our defense, really, left a lot to be desired," he added.
Quincy Miller and the FiberXers rained treys on TNT on the way to posting their fourth win against to losses.
The Tropang Giga definitely have to regroup and play defense as they take on a Phoenix side, that like Converge, is on a roll and contending for an early quarters entry.
