Promising sophomore center Bradwyn Guinto is now a Road Warrior

Mahindra dealt big man Bradwyn Guinto and forward Chito Jaime to NLEX in a five-player trade.

The Road Warriors, in exchange, sent veteran forward Rob Reyes, small forward Jeckster Apinan and rookie guard Reden Celda to the Floodbuster in a revised deal.

Receiving the trade on his table before the annual planning session in Korea, PBA Commissioner Chito Narvasa finally approved the transaction after the two teams amended their earlier proposal which would only send Apinan and Celda to Mahindra for Guinto and Jaime.

The Road Warriors now have a young formidable backup to their veteran bigmen Asi Taulava and Rico Villanueva in Guinto while Jaime makes a reunion of sorts with his former mentor at Rain or Shine, coach Yeng Guiao.
