Blackwater and NLEX have agreed on a trade deal, swapping Dave Marcelo and Rabeh Al-Hussaini in a move they hope provide them some relief in their struggling showing in the PBA Commissioner's Cup.
Al-Hussaini moved over to the Elite camp, his eighth team since being drafted second overall by the Air21 Express in 2010. Prior to his jump to Blackwater, the former Ateneo top center suited up with the Express, the San Miguel Beermen, the Powerade Tigers, the GlobalPort Batang Pier, the TNT KaTropa Texters, the Meralco Bolts and the NLEX Road Warriors.
Marcelo, meanwhile, is hooking up with the Road Warriors after earlier stints with the Barako Bull Energy, the Barangay Ginebra Kings and the Blackwater Elite.
Both players played minor roles in their previous teams.
Due to an injury, Al-Hussaini has played one game in the current tourney, coming up with two points and one rebound in seven minutes of action.
