ROOKIE Richard Escoto was straight to the point.
Asked who among the PBA players he's looking to go up against once the season finally resumes, Escoto mentioned his brother's name, Russel, without batting an eyelash.
Russel, the 6-foot-6, four-year power forward, is currently with the San Miguel Beermen.
"First time ko kasing makakalaban ang kuya ko sa buong buhay ko pag bumalik na ang PBA," admitted the younger Escoto, a second round pick of Blackwater in last year's draft.
The Escoto versus Escoto match-up could have happened much earlier in the season had the COVID-19 pandemic not came along the way.

But there's no really bad blood between the two.
The elder Escoto actually had been giving Richard words of wisdom as he now treks his own career path as a pro.
Russel always reminds his younger brother to observe good work ethic.
"Dapat mag-trabaho ka ng husto para tumagal ka sa PBA," said Richard. "At rumespeto ka sa mga coaches and dapat marunong makisama sa mga player at mga boss.
Self-discipline is also important, stressed his older brother.
