THE PBA sanctioned three more players on Wednesday for taking their acts in unsanctioned PBA games.
PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial fined apologetic players Kent Salado of NorthPort, Blackwater's Renato Ular and Rey Suerte P50,000 each for playing in an invitational tournament in Davao City without seeking permission from either their mother ballclubs or the PBA.
The commissioner handed the penalties after meeting the trio at the PBA office in Libis, Quezon City.
The fines came a week after Marcial assessed hefty fines on 10 players for participating in unsanctioned tournaments.
Magnolia's Jio Jalalon, Beau Belga of Rain or Shine and JR Quinahan of NLEX bore the brunt of the fines meted by the league commissioner.
