THE changes keep coming for San Miguel.
Hardly had Torren Jones warmed up his seat when the import found himself on the move as the team decided to bring in a new import in Jabari Narcis.
A native of Trinidad and Tobago, the 27-year-old Narcis made his PBA debut Sunday night in the Commissioner's Cup in a 99-91 San Miguel overtime loss to guest team Eastern at the Philsports Arena.
Narcis didn't do too bad, finishing with a team-high 28 points and 10 rebounds.
But the numbers failed to give the Beermen the win as it fell to an even 3-3 record and lost for the first time in three outings since Leo Austria took over again as head coach.

The San Miguel mentor though, is keeping his faith on Narcis, who just practiced with the team twice before the game against Eastern.
"Kitang-kita naman he's still adjusting. He doesn't know yet the system and what kind of plays we do because we can't teach everything in two days," said Austria.
He added Narcis' size and ability to shoot from the perimeter could complement well the team.
"He's bigger than Torren. And we felt that with the consultation from everybody, Jabari could help us with his size and he could shoot from the three once in a while," said Austria. "He's an import that could fit with June Mar kasi we needed someone to stretch the floor."
Tapping the services of Narcis doesn't mean Jones will be parting ways with the Beermen.
The 30-year-old Jones remains with San Miguel as its other import in the EASL (East Asia Super League), replacing Quincy Miller.

"Pinalitan namin si Quincy Miller," said Austria, adding it was a difficult decision relegating Jones to the EASL for Narcis.
