THE pizza and cheese stick is on Tim Cone next.
That's what he has pay for arriving late for Barangay Ginebra's PBA Governors Cup game against Columbian Dyip on Friday night one in which Cone arrived at the Smart Araneta Coliseum just before the tip-off.
The massive traffic at SLEX had a lot to do with Cone's misery that marked the first time he missed a pre-game talk in his entire coaching career in the PBA.
"It's the first time in 30 years I missed a pre-game talk that someone else had to do it (for me)," said Cone during his post-game interview following the Kings' 113-90 victory over the Dyip.
Cone had to endure four hours on the road just to get at the Big Dome from his home in Alabang, which he referred to as 'an amazing journey.'

On regular days, he said it would take him an average of two-hour travel time to make the trip all the way to the venue.
But not on this day.
"It's Friday pay day. But I didn't think it would be that bad," he said.
For coming late, Cone has to treat the entire team in practice.
"I have to buy pizza and cheese stick," he said. "It's a big fine. I have to treat the whole team.

As if any consolation, the Kings rewarded their coach with the victory that clinched for them a Top 4 finish to the playoffs, where they will enjoy a twice-to-beat advantage.
Ginebra (7-3) still has one more game left against NorthPort on Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, a chance for the Kings to end their elimination round campaign on a winning note and prime them up for the quarterfinals.
And Cone vows not to come in late for the game again. (RG)
