TNT gets full roster back for PBA restart

TNT Tropang Giga is back in full force when the PBA Governors Cup resumes on Feb. 11.

Coach Chot Reyes said Kib Montalbo and Troy Rosario are set to make a roster comeback and play for the first time this conference.

"Kib Montalbo is already practicing fully, and Troy Rosaio is practicing fully, and by the resumption of the PBA, I expect to have both of them back," said Reyes.

Montalbo went under the knife shortly after the Tropang Giga won the Philippine Cup title inside the Bacolor bubble for a meniscal tear, while Rosario suffered a spinal shock and a dislocated pinky during the same all-Filipino Cup finals.

The return of the two is definitely a welcome one for TNT which struggled to keep within the .500 mark (2-2) heading to the month-long break.

The Tropang Giga are currently in Malarayat in Batangas where they're holding training camp in preparation for the restart of the conference.

TNT last played Dec. 26 and barely beat Rain or Shine, 95-92, while parading new import Aaron Fuller, who replaced the injured McKenzie Moore. (RG)
