TROY Rosario hopes to pick up from where he left off in the last PBA Commissioner's Cup finals.
The TnT Katropa 'stretch 4' is coming off what he termed as one of the best conferences of his PBA career, something which he hopes he'll be able to bring in the 2019 FIBA World Cup.
The 27-year-old forward played big in the recent mid-season title series which the Katropa lost to the San Miguel Beermen in six games.
Rosario is in his first stint with the national team in the quadrennial meet and is looking to help Gilas in any which way he can starting with their first game Saturday opposite Danilo Gallinari and Italy.
"I hope I learned something sa finals na yun para madala dito," said Rosario. "Sana madala ko yung game ko sa finals kasi isa sa pinakamagandang conference ko yun sa buong career ko sa PBA, kaya sana makatulong."

Playing in the finals had Rosario and TnT Katropa teammate Roger Pogoy and San Miguel's June Mar Fajardo coming on board belatedly for the national team that they struggled a bit re-learning the Gilas sets and pattern.
But Rosario allayed fears and said the three of them will be fine when the World Cup battle begins.
"Nakapag-pahinga na rin naman kami after the finals. And pagbalik namin, yung focus namin nasa Gilas lang," he said.
"More than 10 days rin naman kami nakapag-practice with the team since then. Tingin ko sapat na rin yun."
After Italy, Gilas Pilipinas will next face Serbia on Sept.2 followed by Angola on Sept. 4. (RG)
