THE PBA will entertain virtual fans for Thursday's Philippine Cup double header at the Smart 5G-powered AUF Arena in Angeles, Pampanga.
Persistent public clamor to be part of the PBA bubble prompted the league to cut short trial for the online viewership.
Initially, the PBA has planned to accommodate virtual fans starting October 19 with this week dedicated to a trial run to improve and avoid glitches.
"Maraming fans ang tumawag at nagsasabing gusto nila manood ng games as virtual fans," explained PBA commissioner Willie Marcial, who has decided to accommodate fans for this once in a lifetime virtual experience on Oct. 15 instead.
Games on Thursday pit NorthPort against Phoenix Super LPG and Ginebra opposite Blckwater.
