THE Philippine Basketball Association finally ends its hiatus of almost a month Wednesday, holding an exciting tripleheader to mark the restart of Season 46 Philippine Cup at the DHVSU Gym in Bacolor, Pampanga.
TNT Tropang Giga (3-0), one of two teams sporting clean slates, resumes its drive by playing winless Blackwater (0-4) in the 12:30 p.m. Bacolor play kickoff.
San Miguel Beer (3-1) and Terrafirma (0-4) clash at 3 p.m. then Meralco (4-1) and Magnolia (4-0) collide at 6 p.m.
PBA commissioner Willie Marcial and the members of the PBA board of governors are thankful to Pampanga Gov. Dennis Pineda, Cong. Dong Gonzales and to the members of the DHVSU board of trustees for their support allowing the restart of the tourney stalled by the shift to a strict quarantine status in NCR plus area.
The PBA resumes while observing strengthened health and safety protocols where violators are to face stiff sanctions.
