EVEN though he was still not 100 percent, Mikey Williams showed his game is still good enough to be a factor for TNT.
Williams should be closer to full-game shape by now and that should spell as bad news for Phoenix Super LPG clashing with the Tropang Giga Sunday in the PBA Philippine Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
TNT is looking to notch a third straight win that would boost its overall record to 5-2 and keep it solidly at fourth-running spot.
For its part, Phoenix wants to get back on track following a numbing loss that put it at 2-3.
Game time is 4:30 p.m.

Matthew Wright and Jason Perkins, who both churned out performances that are way below their usual norms in a 77-95 loss to Magnolia just last Friday, are expected to bounce back hard.
But TNT, with usual stalwarts Jason Castro, Troy Rosario and RR Pogoy, should be ready.
More so Williams.
The reigning Rookie of the Year and scoring champion scored 15 points, but only on a 5-of-20 clip from the field, and committed four turnovers in his first game back last Thursday. But he did have six assists, three rebounds and generally helped the Tropa eke out an 89-85 overtime win over Rain or Shine.
"The important thing was, even if some of his shots weren't falling, I thought he did a great job on defense and he rebounded... and he was giving off a lot of assists, a lot of good passes, giving his teammates a lot of good looks," noted TNT coach Chot Reyes of his prized Fil-Am.

Williams, who arrived from the US only last Monday, mainly blamed jetlag for his initial form. "I think I'm pretty much in decent shape," he said after the Elasto Painters game.
"It's just getting this jetlag out of my system," added Williams. "I think I need maybe one or two more days and I'll be back to my normal form."
For Phoenix to have a good chance, it must avoid the listless start it had against Magnolia, which saw the Fuel Masters plagued by sour shooting that ultimately resulted in Wright and Perkins combining for just 14 points. (NC)
