Abueva fined 10K for 'dirty finger'

CALVIN Abueva was fined P10K by the PBA on Monday for two separate incidents where he was caught foisting a dirty finger during games of the Governors Cup.

The veteran forward was slapped P4K for the act during Phoenix's game against NLEX and an additional P6K for doing the same against the Fuel Masters' intense match versus San Miguel Beer.

The Fuel Masters beat the Road Warriors, 123-97, but lost against the Beermen, 117-100.

Abueva was summoned at the league office before he was given the sanction.

The Phoenix star got entangled in a physical play against San Miguel import Kevin Murphy late in their Oct. 12 game at the Mall of Asia Arena.
