Find out what's keeping Sean Anthony, Yeng Guiao and other PBA stars busy while under quarantine

Baby sitting is one thing Sean Anthony loves to do on his free time.

And the suspension of all PBA activities brought by the coronavirus outbreak, allows the NorthPort forward to spend quality time with his family.

"My whole day is mostly spent keeping my three little boys busy without tearing down the house," Anthony shared.

He swears his present role is a lot more challenging than playing on the court.

"It's super challenging keeping them active. I've been building obstacle courses, forts and have a lot of pillow fights," he added.

Besides monitoring his little kids, Anthony is also busy helping out in other household chores, including cooking.

"We all help out in everything. My wife does majority of the cooking but recently, I made burgers for lunch," he added.

Magnolia forward Jackson Corpuz and his teammate, veteran forward Marc Pingris, Rain or Shine guard Rey Nambatac and NLEX rookie Mike Ayonayon are making their lives meaningful in various ways while being under enhanced community quarantine.

For Corpuz, sharing his blessings gives him a sense of fulfillment.

"Nag-usap kami ng girlfriend ko na tumulong kami sa kahit anong maliit na paraan," said Corpuz.

In contrast, Pingris joined his fellow PBA stars in singing their own version of Michael Jackson's 'Heal The World' in the hope to inspire people in trying times.

"Asawa ko ang mahilig kumanta," Pingris said. "Pero masaya at nakakatuwa kahit na may pinagdadaanan tayo maipakita lang namin sa mga tao na kapag sama-sama kaya naman. Maganda yung naisip ni LA (Tenorio) maipakita namin sa kanta na matatapos din ito at andyan ang Diyos. Sana sa bahay lang muna sila (mga tao) para safe."

With nothing much to do, Nambatac keeps himself busy doing home workouts and working to improve his dribbling skills. Ayonayon does the same thing.

Coaches Yeng Guiao of NLEX, Leo Austria of San Miguel Beer and Louie Alas of Phoenix are no different. The trio are using this unfortunate situation that has grip the globe in fear by spending time with their respective families.

Basketball, of course, remains part of their daily life.

"That's what coaches do, continuously nag-aaral ka pa rin talaga . Given naman yun," Guiao said.

"At the same time, you would check on your team and make sure that everybody is staying safe and healthy and would do home workouts." (RJ)
