HE may not be the kind of import that would demand attention from the opposing team, but returning PBA import Aaron Fuller fits perfectly like a glove in Rain or Shine's system.
Head coach Yeng Guiao is no stranger to Fuller's game, having worked with Fuller when he was coach of the NLEX Road Warriors.
Fuller brings the inside presence which the Elasto Painters exactly need while not being ball-dominant to keep the balance production among the local players.
"He's the kind of player that we were looking for, someone who could provide us the inside presence, get the rebounds and defend bigger players at the post. An import who could average around 20 points and 15-plus rebounds because in our system, we don't want a player who's ball-dominant," Guiao stressed.
"But I do believe Aaron is playing much better as his situation is different from the last time we have him six years ago. He's better than ever."

Guiao coached Fuller during his time at NLEX twice, the last one was in the 2018 Governors' Cup, when he replaced Ola Ashaolu.
He now has an opportunity to make a deep run in the playoffs as Rain or Shine attempts to secure the top spot in Pool B with a victory against Blackwater in its final elimination match on Monday (September 23) at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Fuller is now on his fifth tour of duty in the PBA. Besides ROS and NLEX, he has also played for Blackwater.
Fuller said he felt so blessed for the opportunity to return and play for a coach who already knows how to utilize him.
"I played for him before at NLEX, so I pretty much know the system. Everything is lined up perfectly and everything kinda fell into place. It's just great to be back,"Fuller said. (RJ)
