AFTER bowing out of the PBA Governors' Cup quarterfinals, Meralco now focuses on its coming campaign in the East Asia Super League Home and Away Season 2.
Although coach Luigi Trillo said it would be difficult for the Bolts to concentrate on its second stint in the regional league following their 3-0 sweep at the hands of Barangay Ginebra, the team could do nothing but to move forward.
Meralco failed to extend the best-of-five quarterfinals series against Ginebra after a 113-106 loss Monday night at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
"It's going to be very hard because we're coming off a loss. I don't know how we're going to motivate these guys as hard as the timing is," said Trillo.
"Our focus is here (PBA). It's hard to all of sudden just move. But we have to do it."

The Bolts will be up against the Macau Blackbears in one of the EASL doubleheaders during the grand opening on Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The San Miguel Beermen are featured in the other game against the Suwon KT Sonicboom.
Unlike in their initial stint last season, the Bolts have their imports already in town before the tournament kicks off.
The team will parade imports Allen Durham and DJ Kennedy, along with naturalized player Ange Kouame.
"At least this time our imports are here. Like last time, they didn't practice. They showed up one day and then we had to play," said Trillo of Meralco imports in the last EASL in Zach Lofton and Prince Ibeh.
