THE Manny V. Pangilinan group continues to stand side-by-side with the Philippine government in helping the country endure the deadly effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
Through its top patron MVP, owner of PBA teams TnT Katropa, NLEX, and Meralco, the firm donated a number of Vios cars as transportation means by medical health workers travelling from home to work during this ongoing crisis.
More than 30 cars and cargo vans meanwhile, had also been given to the Armed Forces of the Philippines, while 10 buses were provided to the Philippine Army as per reports from One PH and Radyo Singko 92.3 News FM.
The donated vehicles are the latest service delivered by the MVP Group as coronavirus cases in the country continues to grow.
Pangilinan, also chairman emeritus of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP), through his various foundations, have been continuously providing health care packs and hygiene kits to different institutions since the entire Luzon was put under an Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).

The PLDT-Smart Foundation earlier handed out 20,000 pieces of surgical facemasks to the Philippine General Hospital, gave out 150,000 pieces of vitamins for frontliners of Lung Center of the Philippines, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Armed Forces of the Philippines, and hospital security guards and personnel.
It also helped in the decontamination services of the Lung Center, Department of National Defense, and the AFP General Headquarters in coordination with the Makati Medical Center Foundation and the Steramist Asia.
In coordination with the Alagang Kapatid Foundation, it also likewise distributed kits to the San Isidro Labrador Parish in Quezon City and Parokya ng Pagkabuhay, and the Archdiocese of Kalookan. (RG)
