MCFASolver's Brandon Ramirez made his hulking presence felt in his maiden PBA 3x3 stint and rose to the throne as scoring king in the Season 3 Second Conference wars.
The Fil-Canadian big man, a vital cog in the debuting Tech Centrale's Leg 4 triumph and consistency as contenders, amassed 229 points over 29 games in the six-leg mid-season tournament to earn the Arena Plus Top Scorer of the Conference plum.
Ramirez, an unstoppable inside force who can also shoot from outside, beat rivals from podium-finishing teams for the honors despite MCFASolver failing to make the quarterfinals of Monday's Grand Finals at Ayala Malls Glorietta.
Falling short of overtaking the 6-4 Ramirez were Jeff Manday (224) and Joseph Sedurifa (217) of runner-up Meralco, Reggie Morido of third-place Pioneer Elastoseal (187) and many-time scoring champ Almond Vosotros of six-peat grand titlists TNT (181).
Ramirez boosted his cause by tallying 18 in MCFASolver's two pool outings highlighted by a single-game high of 13. Manday made a late run for the honors by firing 30 in three matches but eventually came up six markers off Ramirez's mark.
