IT'S been a while since Ronald Tubid played competitive basketball as a member of the San Miguel Beermen in the Philippine Basketball Association.
For the past two years, the 41year-old native of Iloilo has hooked himself up with Terrafirma as an assistant to head coach Johnadel Cardel then later on became the team's manager.
But on Saturday, Tubid will once again wear jersey number 71 and return to the playing court as a member of the Dyip's PBA 3x3 team. He will fill up the spot of the injured Jebb Bulawan
With his long experience in the league, Tubid should provide leadership and depth to a team still looking to win its first leg title in the three-a-side competition.
Tubid, who will play alongside Dhon Reverente, Terrence Tumalip and Jeremiah Taladua, will make his return against Barangay Ginebra at 9:15 a.m and Meralco at 10:55 am in Pool C.
