San Miguel Beer clobbered Terrafirma, 51-23, to sweep its group sweep and secure the first semifinal spot in the Batang PBA 11-Under division Thursday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Andrei Ancheta, Fritz Avillano and Thiago Cruz scored eight points apiece to show the way for SMB which opened its campaign in Group D with a 63-42 romp over Talk 'N Text in Wednesday's opener.
In Group A, Barangay Ginebra dominated Converge, 49-30, behind the heroics of brothers Joaquin Miguel Baliwag and Julian Mateo Baliwag, who tallied 12 points apiece.
Rain or Shine, meanwhile, debuted with a 64-58 come-from-behind win against Phoenix in Group C.
Noah Simeon Sardea chalked up 15 points while Prince Gelo Bucag added 14 for the Batang Elasto Painters, who erupted for 30 points in the second quarter to rally from 7-22 deficit.
