PBA pays tribute to teachers in Game 4 of SMB-Converge series

THE PBA is one in celebrating Teachers' Day over the weekend.

As a tribute to the people many referred to as one's 'second parent,' Asia's 49-year-old pro league is treating all teachers to watch Game 4 of the Governors Cup quarterfinals series between San Miguel and Converge for free.

Eligible personalities just need to present their faculty ID at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium to get a free pass to the 7 p.m. game.

The Teachers' Day is being celebrated every October 5 coinciding with the World Teachers' Day first established by UNESCO in 1994.

The FiberXers mounted a fierce comeback from 27 points down in the third quarter to pull off a 114-112 stunner in Game 3, made possible by an Alec Stockton game-winning jumper at the buzzer.
